I’m going into the Rumble with the mindset that Vince is on his way out and hasn’t been involved in the product much since TKO became a thing. If this happened before the 2022 rumble for example though? I absolutely would skip it in a heartbeat. Maybe this isn’t the right mindset to have but it’s how personally see it.

 

Its also a wait-and-see thing in terms of how Netflix/USA react.

You'd have a nearly impossible time convincing me that HHH/Steph/Shawn/Nick Khan/etc didnt know. On the other hand, if that cadre is who pushed out Vince, Dunn, Laurinitis, etc...and they keep someone like Brock away...its at least somewhat of a change.

 

It does kind of seem that HHH/Steph gave a half assed attempt at getting rid of Vince. And it’s gotta be something small that Steph still hasn’t come back. But it’s still not a great look. On the other hand I still want to support all the positives that have changed and all those that are there that are innocent too.

 

My most charitable read is they did basically everything you can do to jettison him (the original leaks, forcefully pushing him out, resigning when he returned, etc)...and they definitely protected their own futures in the process...but, not much you can do to a guy that owns 50+% of the voting shares and can just put himself on TV when he wants.
