Very Succession-y for them to shiv him the second he's no longer useful to them.

 

I mean, TKO is gonna pay out a TON of money in investor lawsuits, because this all was surely known (or should have been) in any even semi-competent M&A process. And Vince likely sold a bunch of his shares in part to be able to pay the lawyers he's gonna spend the rest of his life dealing with as he gets hit with endless lawsuits.

Vince is still gonna be rich because of the merger; but, he's gonna lose 8-9 figures minimum in the process.

How far back did the original allegations go from a few years ago? It's wild that all that came out and then he continued doing this shit in 2020/2021.

The original hush money stuff was fairly recent, but as that got it, it was revealed they was stuff with Laurinitis too that went back much further. Think Jan 2022 was the original hush money payment, but the others went back like 10-15 years I believe

I believe he has at least one rape allegation in every decade from the 1980s on

All those gross Torrie Wilson storylines in the 2000s was the real Vince, I’m not surprised but it’s all so wild.

 

It's depressing. Vince lives in this bubble that he knows he can literally do anything he wants without reprocussion. I think the more and more he realized that, the more his evil grew.

And what's more depressing is that this sorta of underbelly seedy world exists more than we most likely know.

There’s no way other high officials currently in charge did not know this was going on.

 

It's going to be a while before anything comes of this, if anything. To completely rid itself of Vince, the board would have to force him to sell off all his stock, which equates to almost 30% of the company. They won't have him do that overnight, because it'll tank the company value.

If they force him out, it's going to be very calculated and probably play out over a long period of time.

TKO doesn't have the cash on hand to do a straight buy back, and I doubt they'd take on a bunch of debt just to wash their hands of him quickly.

 

well they obviously knew about it going on so depends how they view that (they wont care)

It’s real bad for WWE to have this drop at the Rumble, because surely those details means this goes pretty far and wide in the national press

 

And the overall wrestling media is not equipped to cover something like this - they only care about their credentials - the post rumble press conference is gonna be embarrassingly bad

And yeah I couldn’t remember if there were any allegations from the 90s or 80s. I was wondering how much the roids and “Mr McMahon” persona ended up becoming the real him, or if he was always like that prior and the Mr. McMahon was more of a confession of a character. It makes all those years and segments feel so much grosser knowing like oh this wasn’t an act this is how fucking gross he actually is.
