It's an instagram thing, I need to look at what they changed, again, to mess everything up. May have time this week, but I'm not sure.

 

Any idea why this is happening? No idea what’s underneath these

 

TikTok embeds is a guess. Can't quite tell without the link to the post. The datestamp at the top of the post is a link to it, that would help me look. Looks like could be captcha for those embeds.

been getting logged out on mobile recently (ios, firefox) like every time i open the browser. (i'm not in private browsing mode)

 

I haven't changed anything. I'd check content blockers or anything that would block a cookie from being set.

 

Is it an Android issue or by design that emoji don't really work well?

(For instance the gender signs showing up for shrug emojis: ‍♂️‍♀️)

 

I'm able to see shrug emojis on my android phone just fine

 

@Jason Tate it appears that the bot to create discussions for news articles is down. Last handful don't have working thread links.

 

Yep, I remember that. But it had been over an hour for some of them, so I thought something was wrong. Sorry for the false report!

 

I just got redirected to a scam mcafee virus website thing while on mobile

 

Just got the same thing again.

 

I am getting it now too, on Safari on my Mac.

@Jason Tate FYI seems like for some reason it is malwarebytes browser guard extension making youtube videos autoplay lol

 

Oh weird. Hmm. I’ll look into that but that’s super strange. Must be editing the embed somehow maybe.

 

yeah i figure that extension does a lot more than most for obvious reasons. i just mute the site tab (sorry!) and its a fine workaround

 

Hey Jason, one of the pop up ads at the bottom of the screen on web browser (chrome), a universal studios ad I believe, ends up causing severe lag, like slows evvvertyhing down until I close it. It's happened on mobile once or twice too via Safari, but not nearly as often.

All the other ads are fine as far as I can tell, it's always this one specific Universal ad
