Most people want it to be grounded and they’re both probably already going to be in Secret Wars, so there’s no reason to overuse them.

Depends on what they mean by “grounded.” Recent “scoops” are that Daredevil and Ant-Man will involved, the villain will be Kingpin, and that it’s been described as a street-level civil war. That will be more grounded than recent Marvel films.

Not really “grounded” in the sense of the Netflix shows, but “grounded” in that no multiverse or over-powered characters will be involved. There really is no need to bring any multiverse stuff into it if the aim is on Parker interacting with the street-heroes.

If Sony was smart they would make their own film with Tobey and Andrew that’s set before Secret Wars. No need to go through Marvel Studios.

 

Please don't bring them back so soon. It cheapens the entire third film.

I don’t think Skrull lady growing a Drax arm in a messy CGI fight in the finale is “grounded” I guess

 

Depends on how you look at it. That was one scene in the final episode of a six episode show.

 

You grow one Drax arm and suddenly it’s all you’re known for.

 

I just wish one of them had used Ant Man's DNA to open a safe in the middle of the final fight
