noooooo, RIP!!!

 

Holy shit, was just wondering where they were at with new music the other day! I regret not catching him and the band live when I could have, fuck. Gutted

 

Sad for Shane.... Always like the Pogues.

 

Losing Shane and Sinéad in the same year is brutal. Two fantastic songwriters, but also champions for social justice and change. RIP to a real one.

He wasn't in the Moodies long (or for their prime) but in the time he was, he sang "Go Now" which is one of the most sublime singles of the '60s.

And his work as McCartney's right-hand man was responsible for fleshing out a lot of prime work from one of our great legends.

You could do a lot worse in a career. RIP

 

As far as I understand it, he's being very literal when he says he "couldn't have done it without him". His trust in being able to lean on Foskett was the only way Brian could be talked into touring.

 

I worked with Jeffrey a fair bit, he was a generous spirit and an extraordinary talent.

Bob Lefsetz (i know, i know) wrote some really moving words about it, that I think contextualizes their era’s autumn years well.
