I woke up pretty angry about my student loans today. This dickhead Biden said they’d be forgiven in some way shape or form, they weren’t, and he is the one who unpaused them. Why should I vote for this guy again?

The drone wars have not “ended” and transparency on their use remains abysmal. His Ukraine policy is utterly delusional. Withdrawal from Afghanistan is overall good but the execution of it was one of the most embarrassing moments in US history. Brazil isn’t worth mentioning, what a reach.

Its the lowest use since they’ve been introduced AFAIK, what he’s doing with Ukraine is by far the best possible policy option, something our last few presidents haven’t been able to do with their own foreign policy IMO, and the execution was always going to be “bad” because it was clear the Afghan army was never going to be able to hold off the Taliban no matter how hard we tried. If you kept putting it off to get a better looking retreat, you were just not gonna leave ever.

i think this biden best foreign policy in modern presidency(since the 1930s?) stuff is quite a low bar really.

 

That’s fair, I don’t really know who you’d give the designation to because it’s all so bad, but Palestine and Ukraine alone make the argument moot anyway

 

well that was the guys whole point—he’s throwing away what had to date been, by US President standards, decent foreign policy by just completely capitulating to a lunatic genocidal govt and supporting their efforts despite them basically telling him to go fuck himself

and yeah I always wonder what people mean when they say “modern”. I took it to mean post WW2 but everyone defines that stuff differently
