  6. I want to see The Forecast headline but it would still be so cool for them to get on something that big.

With the new clues, my guess for headliner would be Bayside as they are much bigger now than they were during that era and would headline over finch. Opener could either be The Forecast of Armor for Sleep. Regardless, this tour is sure to be a banger haha

Yes they played small sheds two summers ago with Andrew McMahon and alternated who closed.

What type of venue are these shows at? If it’s clubs it could be a variety of options. The Starting Line and Finch could make sense in mid sized clubs.

Beach Life Fest announced that they’re no longer charging extra fees for tickets. I’m down with that

  11. Hard to think of that many bands that came up in the early 2000's within this scene that are bigger now. Bayside is one of them. Silverstein is too, but they're heavier than Finch.

Please tell me it's not ice nine kills opening up another tour :(

Biggest of the new era of pop punk? Neck Deep or we talking newer pop punk?

Dashboard used to play arenas like MSG at their peak in 2006. They might play sheds on big enough co-headliners but they aren’t selling them out.

And “bigger now” was in relation to the clue that the headliner is bigger now than in the era when Finch was originally around, not a direct comparison to Finch (because of course DC is ‘bigger’ than them in general)

I don’t know where the Bayside is bigger now than ever talk is coming from. They’ve always been a club-level band. Last year in Milwaukee they didn’t even play The Rave proper, they were in the basement room. Same tour they did the Metro in Chicago. They have a fan base, very dedicated, but I think it’s pretty stagnant

Back when Finich was at their most active state, Bayside was just starting out, not headlining tours and were much smaller than they were now. Bayside didn’t really start to take off until after The Walking Wounded came out. Before that, they were mostly opening for bands like Hawthorne Heights, Mest, Anberlin, etc. As someone who has seen them a ton, Bayside is undoubtedly bigger now than they were 15-20 years ago.

That was an underplay tour. They did two nights in a 600 capacity club in NYC. They did Terminal 5 on the tour before that

lol who on God's green earth thinks Bayside is big these days? Or ever? Especially compared to Finch.

Gotta assume the band from Massachusetts is Four Year Strong. The first one maybe TSSF?

Umm Finch isn’t exactly the biggest band in the world? They can sell well if they do a few shows in big markets, but fall off a cliff if they do anything that isn’t a WIITB tour. They had one of the smallest main stage crowds I’ve ever seen at Warped in 2014. Bayside has been consistently touring for 20 years and has a much more devout core fanbase. Their last tour sold out most dates. Bayside would definitely headline over Finch if they toured lol

Finch is nice, but if the Forecast actually got on a decent tour I’d lose my shit. One of the most underrated bands in the scene that I never had a chance to see.

I know Brent is a little bit older than me so maybe that changes the view but I have literally only heard WIITB (the song) from Finch. Literally no other songs

Hmm TSSF then? Or State Champs

Also what genre is the MA band and the band with a big sync?

I mean a majority of their fanbase only likes that one album. That’s not surprising. I love Finch, but acting like they are some huge band is a bit odd. They fell off HARD when they released a sophomore album that their fanbase hated. One of the most visceral reactions to a sound change I’ve ever seen. I saw them in 2008 and 2014. Neither time did they have a big crowd and people only care about WIITB songs.
