Having watched UK1, Aus 1&2, and US1, and am watching UK2 & US2 the last three episodes of UK season 2 are COMFORTABLY the best the show has ever had. This season is just phenomenal TV.

Diane and the fizzy rose. Then, Diane leading her own funeral? Iconic. Paul backstabbing Miles who tries to take him with him? Harry destroying Paul. When Ross winked at the camera in a packed car. Andrew having a meltdown and being the worst recruit of all time and it's only day one. Just excellent television.

 

The US and UK shows use the same castle but only the US contestants sleep on location. I wonder why the UK ones sleep elsewhere.

 

I’m pretty sure the US does not sleep in the castle either, they go away to a hotel at night.

 

Yeah they all go upstairs at night but that could be for show

 

UK latest episode holy shit! Harry is RUTHLESS. This is already better than S1.

 

They all sleep at a hotel nearby, near Inverness airport. I think they just pretend the US contestants sleep there to make to feel more authentic.

Really intrigued to see if the US continues with the same tasks as the UK, cause I want to see another funeral and how Alan compares to Claudia lol.

 

All of this is amazing. Claudia standing outside the castle with the veil over her face was iconic too. Have you watched the "uncloaked" after show. Incredible reveals. Like Miles confessing to Dianne he was a traitor, then her saying her son was in. Amazing reactions from them both

 

I know its only season 2 of the UK version, but id happily watch S3 with an "allstars" from the two seasons.

I’m one episode behind on UK, but man am I loving this season. UK1 was so good too, I think this has gotta be my favorite version of the show. Just incredibly entertaining television.

US2 has been decent so far, but (and I may be in the minority here) I much prefer a cast of regular people than I do reality stars. The over the top personalities just don’t do it for me at all. I still love the show because even a “bad”season of the Traitors is still pretty great, but UK > US so far for me.

 

US2 is quickly becoming show vs show vs show, which I honestly expected. So yeah I agree with ya, while I move these personalities and always be joy seeing them.....regular people creates authentic drama.

You're gonna love UK. Muahahahaha

oh, and apparently I’m an episode behind on US2 as well. Didn’t realize a 4th had aired already, not up on Crave here for me yet

 

I get why some would prefer all normies but I’m just such a big fan of all these shows that it’s basically a reality tv fever dream for me. Seeing Phaedra and Parvati interact like this has me shouting at my tv in ways no other media can ever do lol.

 

Guess I should check out the UK version. I was kind of whatever on S1 of US but I'm enjoying S2 quite a bit. Also been watching Trust: A Game of Greed on Netflix, which is obviously a different show, but kind of scratches the same itch.

This was also recommended to me when I mentioned Trust in the Netflix thread, and it was a fun quick watch. Highly recommended.

 

I much prefer the UK version, honestly. But it could be because I neither know nor care about who these "celebrities" are.

And todays episode was great again. That moment at the end, when Harry gets cocky about Diane's murder and Ross was visibly seething was such great TV. Feels like the end is really well poised. Harry in danger but Molly as a clueless alibi, Andrew growing in confidence, Ross plotting vengeance, Jasmine in danger, Jaz seeing everything like Hercule Poirot, Zac being... Zac... It's well balanced.

After the franchise continues to grow, id hope to see a Traitors All Stars. There's so many characters from all the iterations I'd love to see clash.

Goddamn. Amen to everything you just said. That ending was bananas! Harry is quickly climbing up the ranks as one of my all time fav Traitor players. Ross is gonna be a huuuuuge problem I feel for Harry.
Traitors Uncloaked is too good. Wish US did it.

 

Traitors All Stars is a brilliant idea I can’t believe I’ve never thought of or heard floated until right now lol

Oh also some of y'all might not know, but Johnny Bananas has a podcast and so far he's interviewed Cirie just before this season started, interviewed Marcus last week for the 3 episode premiere, and his latest is with Ekin-Sue. We may not get Traitors Uncloaked but the Bananas man is giving us some follow up content.

I gotta say, I’m not really loving this new US season as much as I’d hoped. It’s fine and perfectly watchable, but the drama just seems so manufactured and over the top. I dunno, just feels off to me. Maybe it’s because I don’t give a shit about any of the shows these people came from, but I find like 75% of the cast wildly unlikeable lol

I just watched the most recent episode. Deontay was my favorite player and the only person I was familiar with going in. So much for that lol

UK2 is way more my speed so far

 

yeah, most of them are very unlikable and are affecting my enjoyment as well. I only knew Dan going in, because of his Spelunky 2 content, not Big Brother lol, and I'm happy he was selected as a traitor, even if he doesn't seem great at it. I do like Sandra and Kevin, who seemed to have eaten an edible during episode 4 lol.

 

UK latest: LOL Ross. One and done. Good on him for throwing Andrew under the bus, Harry is still under everyone's radar (except Jaz), he's got Millie eating out the palm of his hand. Everyone else suspects Evie.....I could see people thinking Andrew and get rid of him.
US:
Yay kate. Dan should consider himself lucky, he's playing the kinda game that is making everyone suspicious of him. Also Trishelle those gloves need to gooo lol.
