There needs to be a subset of Parkinson's Law about meetings filling the time they are allotted. I work with one person in particular who will see 7 minutes left in a meeting, and even though we've come to a decision, will literally say, "well, let's use the next seven minutes to make sure it's the right decision, just in case."
