1.5/3 and still unconvinced to pre-oder the album.

Man. I loved fun. and absolutely adored the first two bleachers albums. Love the TSwift albums jack played a major role in. I have seen them live 5+ times and I thought perhaps Jack was on the way to creating his own masterpiece.

I could not be more bored with everything he has put out with bleachers after 2017. I have 0 desire to even listen to most of these recent songs a second time. I think the reality is that Jack works better with another vocalist otherwise we are just left with everything sounding the same.

Comes out in April. Looks like they’re releasing a song a week.

alma mater demo sounds interesting, drug free america sounds wild, and margo is confirmed to be a new version of Dance, Rascal Dance as we had expected

Question Mark seems potentially really cool. I Am In Your Hands feels like very by-the-numbers Bleachers-in-2024. The Backwards Heart sounds fine enough. And yeah, the Turnkipe Ghost version sounds like he removed all the emotion from the song, so weird

I'm bummed we didn't get a Terrible Thrills Vol 4. Jack said at one point that he was working on it but it must have been abandoned. Maybe the last album and then next will get a combined one...

With these 4 tracks, I definitely have more of a sense of what this album is shaping up to be. For lack of better words, it seems overall more chill/relaxed album musically, and thankfully the production feels better/more fitting than the last. I'm getting excited to hear the whole thing now
