Disagree with virtually all of that. As a tool it can be misused, and there’s lots of things it - like all advances in tech before - should be regulated for, but the underlying LLM tech is amazing and a huge leap forward. The idea that it shouldn’t be “here to stay” or on the same level of people not masking, I find wild. Going back to coding or even using Excel the old way compared to now is like telling me I have to do math by hand after discovering a calculator.

My lame-ass prediction is if Dems went after and removed two justices or expanded the court, you'd get a lot of moderate dummies who'd be like "well Trump never attacked the norms of the court like this!" and vote for him saying Biden's the actual radical one and blah blah blah. Whether it would energize the young base enough to offset that, who knows. I'd certainly like to try. Do what good shit you can and if it loses you the job, so be it. A lot harder to take things away once they're done than it is to keep asking permission to do them and hoping you'll get it.

But it's moot anyway because two of the Dem senators needed to do any of that cool shit are Joe Manchin and Krustin Sinema and they'll never go along with it. Especially since neither of them have a job to fight for anymore it seems.

I wonder if Biden could appoint justices in recess. I know you can do it to fill an opening like people were begging Obama to do in 2016, but not sure on if you can do it to create new spots. I assume congress has to create the new spots.

B&N is the cleanest store bathrooms to use tho.

 

I don’t think I’d qualify for that, but I had IBS symptoms for like 10 years. I think it was extreme anxiety looking back. But due to that, I would choose specific spots to stop or shop in based on restrooms. And David is right, B&N was good back then. Last time I went to it though, it wasn’t in good shape.
