I must now go to the source Supporter

Morgan saved her and then the guys from The Kingdom showed up to take them to The Kingdom.

The thing I was most hoping for did happen though. Sasha went with Maggie to Hilltop. I want to see the two of them share that storyline from the comics, taking over Hilltop together. PLEASE.

Actually yes, I look forward to seeing what all the other characters are doing, now that we got the big one(s) out of the way.

Yeah that one guy was pissed. And I mean rightfully so, I suppose, since she did shoot a bunch of his friends.

Yep, this did nothing to justify the cliffhanger. And the brutality was so over-the-top it robbed the characters death of any significance.

Glenn's final words to Maggie... I legitimately felt angry watching that scene. I wish I could have just beaten Negan senseless.

Man that was clever what they did there...got us thinking Abraham was the only one. I thought we were getting off easy. I did not see the second one coming at all

Second viewing of the bat scene is just as worse as the initial viewing. Total overkill and ruthless. He went to town on Abe's head. Definitely feel like he knew he was going to give him the bat when he was sizing them all up, and when he got to Abe and he rose up, sticking his chest out to him as to almost say, "Fuck you, you don't scare me," and Negan looked him up and down and chuckled. The einey miney moe factor was just to scare/fuck with the group and build suspense. And Glenn? Holy shit. They did a pretty decent job replicating Glenn's eye popping out, but goddamn was that graphic.

I have concerns about where this season is going. I hope it isn't just them getting shit on the whole time.

Not to take away from Glenn's death, which was tough to stomach, but as time went on I realized Abraham 's death was pretty sad. Was such a heroic dude with a pretty cute relationship with Eugene.

LOL at Talking Dead being 90 minutes when the episode of TWD is only 67! Do they realize how pretentious that is?!

What a well done episode! The directing and acting were top notch. Even though we lost two characters, the Carl arm scene was the most intense to me. When this show wants to, it can deliver better than any show, I just wish it was all the time and not a few times a season.

Glad they didn't cop out with Glenn, although I wish Abraham would have made it and maybe Eugene or Daryl took his place. I would have loved to have seen where his story went, esp with Sasha.

I can't argue with anyone who didn't like the cliffhanger last season. I too thought it was cheap and unnecessary but I must admit, last night's episode was one of the most intense, uncomfortable hours of TV I've ever watched. I thought it was pretty well done and am glad they didn't cop out with just Abraham (if that would have been it, all bets would have been off).

I have a feeling we're going to get a few filler episodes before we even see/hear from Negan again. It looks like next week is going to be focused on The Kingdom.

Also, I don't read the comics, did Rick go through with cutting off Carl's arm in the comics? Kirkman said something on Talking Dead about Carl losing his arm and he said 'we're still not ruling that out.'

Another thing that sometimes get lost, and JDM said on Talking Dead, JDM doesn't consider Negan a bad guy. Just doing what he has to do to keep him and his group alive. Just as Rick has done for the past 7 years. Because we view this show from Rick's perspective, we think he's a good guy and they're a good group, but let's not forget, Rick and his group brutally murdered many of Negan's people last year in their sleep. So, he's got a point.

In the trailer for this season, we see Negan's men kneel whenever he walks by. I guess I didn't realize that in a way, they worship him. Just think of all the work he had to go through to teach obedience and loyalty to every single on his "soldiers".

I didn't really care about losing Glenn or Abe, however I was disturbed more by the almost-carl-hand-chop and the general ruthless power of Negan, Rick finally being mentally defeated.

Agreed, even though this ep was amazing I still hate the cliffhanger last season. If this were the finale last season instead of wasting time with the RV driving around traps for 40 mins, I think that would have worked better.

Carl doesn't get his arm chopped in the books, if anything it was a throw back to Rick getting his hand chopped (which I thought might happen when Negan drug Rick to the RV with his axe). Hearing other interviews with Kirkman, he just jokes around like that.

IMO the best villains are the one's who think they are doing the right thing. In one ep, he's almost become my favorite onscreen villain.
