My problem is my algorithm knows exactly what I want to buy but apparently they think I make like six figures because it's always waaaay out of the price range of things I buy

I went to wal mart after a few months of just going to target and safeway and man wal mart is so cheap in comparison I felt like a bad commercial for them when I checked out and saw how little my total was. Also they're copying Target's cute lil bird stuffed animal type things. Look worse quality but so cute

Only recently started using Spotify and it’s fascinating seeing how many monthly listeners artists have. No idea what counts for that metric, but seeing a band like Hot Mulligan have 816K monthly listeners is awesome. I always felt like they were such a small/unknown band so great to see that’s not the case (at least based on that number which I think is a high amount).

 

Hot Mully are huge now, they're selling out decent sizes venues on all their tours

 

"Buying a round for the house" is one of the things you see cool guys do in movies/tv, but when you see a guy drop over a grand to buy drinks for the house in a crowded shady dive bar in real life it is a actually kind of pathetic and sad.

I have seen it happen once, and i was like "ok I will take the drink, but also what the fuck is wrong with you and why are you doing this?"

 

That's certainly one way to look at a kind gesture.

The only time I’ve seen someone order a round for the bar was when they won money on one of the gambling machines.

 

Had my dentist look at the black spots on my teeth and said just monitor them bc they’re super small. Good because I’m not trying to get a filling done.

 

There’s a light switch in my living room that I thought turned the outlets off/on on the wall where I have my tv/internet/etc. all plugged into and am always careful to not flip it (it’s a double switch with the other light switch being for a ceiling hallway light) so I don’t turn off my internet and have to wait for it to boot back up and tonight I accidentally flipped it and immediately flipped it back but knew it would be too late but it didn’t turn anything off so now I’m gonna turn into Monica from Friends in the episode where she loses her mind trying to figure out what the light switch in Chandler/Joey’s apartment does.

The exploitation that it enables (to say nothing of what is done to children) is enough to make me want to eradicate it from the planet. I know that that is unreasonable.
