Leap year line in the title track locks in the new record as being set in 2023 in the Aaron West cinematic universe

 

Anyone who bought the live stream ticket, are they doing it through Veeps or their own platform? I got a Veeps subscription for Christmas so it would be rad if I just get it with that.

I forget when they started, but I feel like they've been doing pickup for at least a few years at this point.

 

Going to pretend it only started just yesterday so I don't have to lament the $100 I've spent in shipping from Cold Cuts in the last couple years.

 

In Lieu of Flowers is easily my favorite song Dan has done outside TWY, and honestly just one of the best songs he's written period. I love it so much.

 

This got me thinking about my top 5 non-TWY Dan songs. Off the cuff, I think it would be:

Coming Up For Air
Winter Coats
Runnin' Toward the Light

"In Lieu of Flowers" and "On Tim Riggins..." and "Orchard Park" would just barely miss the cut.

No shot the venue stage in Buffalo holds more than 5 people with all the gear lol. Venue is 240 cap and tiny to begin with which is weird since they did a 400 cap two years ago.

 

Same for Nile Underground. It's so small. Dear Hunter played there and they were crammed with like 6 people. Very excited for it, though, very intimate venue.
