Yea I think they gave us the same reason. I’m sorry but what ingredients did they put in them that’ll they essentially became lethal when the store closes? So stupid, I’m taking those muffins.

 

they also said employees would cook extra food at the end of the night to take it home, like nah we are trying to do the least amount of work for shit pay, ain’t nobody got time to be cooking all this extra shit.

 

When I worked at Baskin Robbins you would get one free item per shift, & one of my coworkers would make a smoothie in the gallon sized take home tub normally used for ice cream. He'd do one about every other week

 

Dunkin’ Coffee is mid but the cold brew is pretty good

 

i print out journals and other literature with the office printer.

 

My junior and senior year of high school, I never once paid for alcohol. Every weekend, I'd just take a case of beer from the back storage room, place it on the dock by the dumpsters and then go pick it up after my shift. There were no cameras in the backroom(s) or in the back of the building. The grocery store was begging to be stolen from.

I actually never admitted to it, and I told managers I would watch any tapes they had of me stealing (they didn't). I was ratted out by several other employees though because they came down on about 8 of us, and interrogated us all separately. Since I was under 18, they couldn't really charge me with anything (since I didn't admit and they had no physical proof) and told me if I ever came back again once I turned 18 I 'would leave the store in cuffs'.

20 years later, I regularly shop there now.

 

I bring home drinks and snacks from the office fridge every time I go in. It’s not really stealing, but it’s supposed to be an in office perk only to try and encourage people not to work from home.

I'm bartending at a nicerish restaurant right now working brunch and always give the line cooks a cigarette as a thank you whenever they whip me up a brekkie sandwich. Don't need to speak the same language when you in the trenches together.
