I saw WATT the last run they did it so will pass on this but definitely in a way biggger room than last time that didn’t sell out.

They played underground arts in Philly last time which is a tiny room and while I do think it sold out I also had no problem getting a second hand ticket for a reasonable price

As someone who has travelled to the US 3 times to see them since the reunion, some of you guys seem a little ungrateful/spoilt now that they're doing yet another US tour. Just don't go if you don't want to. I think they are doing it cos they enjoy it and for now enough people are going to watch it. They are probably scarred from the 'newer' stuff not getting the crowd reception when they originally played it. It would be nice if they came out with something new, fingers crossed one day.

I just realized since they’re playing Steps Ascending there is a chance Jonah might come out during the sac date….

Can’t believe no one posted about the merch drop this week. First time I bought something from them in a long time! Couldn’t pass up the dove stencil.

Some bands I've never heard of did a Full Collapse cover album. I can't say I loved any of it but fans might be curious:

Thursday also just got announced onto Outbreak festival - what a lineup. Got my ticket!

So assuming it's not new music. What could this mean?

Maybe finally getting the records from the 3 Signals livestream shows? They've already done live LPs for FC and WATT. Can't imagine what else they could be hinting at.

Or it's just a generic promotion for their live shows next year.

Geoff is on The New Scene podcast today and so far it’s a really good listen. Deep into everything. So many stories that I hadn’t heard before.

I’m also half way through his book so it was a really good companion listen to that as the host was asking if certain parts of it were true, etc.

Man, I’m listening to ACbtLD again and I just want to go back in time and pummel everyone who shit on it. Just such a self-evident masterpiece and a vision for a direction where emo could have gone if it just had some more open-minded fans. “Autumn Leaves Revisited” is just straight up one of the best closers of all time.

me but last year on my thursday discogs revisit, i agree 100%, that album should of been bigger than war all the time but like you said kids were against it and island dropped the ball, etc etc

I just finished reading Where Are Your Boys? and they don’t really get to this one or Even If It Kills Me to renew my fury at the narrowness of the genre..but there are about 3 comments on In Reverie and all of them are so mean that you’re transported RIGHT back to that old closed-minded shit.

yeah i chuckled when adam said no one wanted that album to be the follow up to stay where you are! i did find it interesting that cartel said band in a bubble got passed up by motion city AND anberlin, so that would of been cities and even if it kills me 'recorded' in the bubble, thankfully they weren't because those albums were hits and self titled cartel was not..

i finished the book pretty recently too! excellent read. i love how geoff recalled the phone call with anthony green about signing to island and anthony was like nah they made you re-record your stuff and he was like no they gave us more time to record new songs .. but then he was like maybe they did have us do that on purpose. they were all so young and naive and just going on what their friends were tellin em ya know? previous experiences etc

It actually is one of the rare cases for the benefits of the actual industry when it still existed. That album wouldn’t be even close to what it is without those 3 songs they went off to MA and recorded. Labels interfered in plenty of bad ways, but sometimes having music lifers around to advise you actually led to something productive.
