I hope to see him in more and more films in the coming years. Sometimes “scheduling conflicts” can be due to the actor wanting to spend time at home.

Not saying he doesn’t deserve it, but I feel like he’s just getting started and the momentum is still building. Minari was fantastic but he is far from his peak.

The rest of his credits, at least as a writer, are better than even Daredevil. He’s only directed two movies though, Cabin in the Woods and Bad Time at the El Royale. I love the former but only like the latter. He was also attached as the writer/director of the Sinister Six movie during the Garfield era.

Pretty sure he was also in early talks to direct Homecoming originally

 

He also wrote a Daredevil film but turned it into a show once the script was rejected.
