He was at the first wrestling show I ever went to. Super cool.

 

I used to see him a lot on AAW. I've seen him there wrestle people like MJF, Fenix, Bandido and more. He always seemed like a cool guy, always coming up with crazy innovative stuff. When he got signed to WWE he dropped his title to MJF and cut one of the most sincere "thank you" promos I have ever heard.

Always been a fan of The Rock and have loved the guy since the Attitude Era. But sadly this just doesnt have me excited at all. Obviously he isn't beating Roman so its kind of like, what's the point? I get it cause its passing the torch or whatever you want to call it, but it just isn't exciting. Like no one is going to believe WWE is giving the title to The Rock. Maybe if they had it as a non-title match it would be a bit more believable. Regardless there is no clean win. I also feel like if it happens at Elimination Chamber, the feud is super rushed.

 

I mean, how much building do you need for Rock vs. Roman? It'd be weird if it took more than the Rock showing up and saying "You think you're the head of our table? check the box office bitch" and it's done lol

 

that's actually not a positive for rock at the moment

 

WWE as it exists today is more different than it was this time last year than any other year-to-year prior, i wouldn't hold them to any past booking tendencies. for all we know TKO want the most successful wrestling personality of all time w the belt.

it is a plus for me personally, i'm a fraction as tired of Mox as most but as fun as C2 was, it made each week look a lil samey on paper. i'm excited for the return of random Dynamites and new faces

stoked for an MJF-less AEW tbh. love the dude but that man needs to heal.

 

AEW can really use this time without The Elite, Mox, MJF etc to start some interesting feuds and get some people some much needed TV time
