This is what I did. I had issues with both but enjoyed them overall, especially Whedon's.

I'm excited to read All New XMen as well.

Finished Manifest Destiny Vol 3. Best one yet, but the ending made me sad.

I found volume 2 kinda weak, but heat great things about volume 3.

I thought the first 2 were definitely less exciting. 3rd changed everything for me, I'm hooked!

Didn't you just read Vol 3?

Nope! I read a bunch of other volume 3s haha. That will be in my next box.

I loved Jill Thompson's Wonder Woman: The True Amazon. Besides Rebirth this is the first solo WW I've read, though she shows up a lot in other stuff.

Most people love Gail Simone's run on WW. I read it and thought it was alright but don't think I was necessarily in the right mood at the time

I plan on going through all of Gail Simone's work since she's one of my favorites, now that I have an origin story out of the way I can start diving into more WW, that's definitely on the list.

I've been meaning to check that out. I feel like it completely flew under the radar, but it looks really cool.

This reminds me that I need to finish Legend of Wonder Woman. It was on my pull and is all out and in my hands, but I feel behind I think a third of the way in. Renae De Liz's work on that series is so excellent; I'm glad there's supposed to be more eventually.

Yeah thankfully someone at IGN was pushing it really hard so I was able to take notice. The paintings make it look like a children's storybook but it's also very violent which makes for some really interesting imagery. Young Diana's bratiness reminded me a lot of Damian Wayne.

    beautiful and chequered, the end

omg apparently Steve Dillon passed away..... :verysad::verysad::verysad::verysad::verysad: i was just about to finish preacher for the first time today. His art was an absolute treasure

Wow. I never had any interest at all in Preacher due to subject matter, and also am not crazy about Punisher, so I have little exposure to his work. But that still absolutely sucks (obviously). Wasn't he the current Punisher artist? Was he ill? This is so out of the blue. I hope his friends and family are as alright as they can be.

Steve Dillon and Darwyn Cooke in the same year... Didn't another big name die, too? Rough year for comics in that regard.

Fuck. He's been growing on me a lot since I'd read Preacher, been loving his work on the Punisher. Tragic.

Read Trick 'R Treat(based on the film) in the spirit of Halloween and thought it was great. Basically a GN of the film.

Plan to read the sequel soon

Identity Crisis was spectacular. My second favorite event behind Final Crisis (I'm assuming it's considered an "event")

I was stupid and somehow missed issue 9. Hopefully there are still places where I can buy it.

Just started the first volume of Low. Those first two issues were a punch to the gut. Very impressed so far.

That book is all the punches in all the guts. I've stopped getting attached to characters.

    Same goes for Deadly Class.

    And Black Science.

    there is a trend.

Any Doctor Strange recs that would presumably be good to read before the movie? I know nothing of the character.

The current run by Jason Aaron is fantastic. I highly recommend it.
