2024 is the year of getting our finances back in order. we've been pretty slowly climbing out of the hole the pandemic left us in but we're getting to a much better spot, got nearly all credit debt gone and focusing on putting that money saved into savings/index funds this year. #adult

 

Flacco has more passing TDs than the Steelers, Titans and Jets.

 

At some point your earnings will increase very slowly or stagnate so the easiest thing to do is cut expenses. My suggestion for you is no more monster energy drinks. No idea what they cost but if you drink 2 a day at $2 a can on work days that's $1,000 a year.

 

Now do that with four other superfluous things and that's 5k a year

 

this is the first year of either me or my wife's adult lives that we're able to actively put money into savings every week, it's weird

Our carelessness when ordering takeout food or coffee in morning is absolutely a big focus for us next year. Which means: less beef. But when the beef time comes, it’ll hit

 

I'm just planning to have more money

 

Yeah cutting down on eating out and takeout is a huge savings

 

for us its the "retail therapy" shopping. gotta find other dopamine hits that don't set us back in the bank account
