Seattle is cool

 

I could see that. Excessive rain during the football season definitely decreases it for me though haha. Getting soaked or wearing a poncho all game sucks even though I'm always happy to tough it out for the experience

 

and like, I'm sure Soldier Field / Lambeau are cool / historic too but I certainly would not enjoy them most of the season lol, too fucking cold and windy (and both need massive upgrades). When i cross those off my bucket list it'll be September games for sure lol

Levi's Stadium might be nice but it's extremely far from actual SF lol, if i'm taking an SF vacation I"m not trying to drive out to San Jose

 

the design is nice in that the upper decks are almost entirely covered, so if you sit up there, you don’t get wet

Steeler’s stadium sucks shit. Piece of shit ass stadium.

 

oh damn. I mean i expect it to be old and rickety but I'd think it being in such a perfect location and being so scenic and having such iconic colors etc would make up for that

 

Ravens stadium used to be boring af but they definitely improved the food options and the presentation. It's also very convenient, right at the front of downtown, Baltimore residents can easily get there and back without dealing with any of the traffic heading south to the suburbs cause it's right next to the highway.

But I still think Jax's stadium is better.

Meadowlands (NY)? awful. FedEx (DC)? Awful. Bank of America (CLT)? Awful. Gilette (NE)? Idk, it could be cool as hell, but the location makes it awful automatically.

Hell, the only other outdoor stadium on the east coast i even LIKE is Lincoln Financial in Philly, that's a really good one

 

The location is nice but it’s just a cheap ass stadium, it’s a bucket of bolts. Especially when you compare it to PNC Park which is one of the best baseball stadiums easily.

 

Id' just love if Matt would, one time, come with me to all my favorite Jax spots and stop judging the city entirely off of only ever going to San Marco and shitty bars on Beach Blvd lol

Yeah, if you're comparing Jax to other more reputable major cities, it's not gonna hold up. Like Jax is nowhere near as cool as Baltimore let alone bigger and more famous US cities. but it's also better than people say it is. The biggest problem is poor urban design, nothing cool in Jax is centralized and public transit is nearly nonexistent, so it's not good for tourists who didn't rent a car and aren't given specific recommendations by the locals. If i only went downtown, I too would think it's the blandest city ever lol.

Foxboro, MA is a dump and on game days there is legit 1 road in / 1 road out and it’s horrendous.

Also can confirm MetLife does stink as well. Thats the only 2 NFL stadiums I’ve been to

 

Jax is the best open stadium I've been to but I've also only been to Jax, TB, Charlotte so lol.

 

The Linc is the best stadium I’ve been to because the birds have won all three games I’ve gone to
