Lorna Shore said on stage they are taking the next five months off after a year and a half on the road.

 

I'm assuming that excludes festival appearances since they'll be at Sick New World.

 

I’m sure this is nothing but considering they posted it the day after saying “what’s next?” I figured it was worth speculating about a Good Charlotte/New Found Glory/Knuckle Puck tour in 2024

Am I misremembering, or wasn’t there something floating around about a NFG/GC tour next year? I could’ve sworn I heard something around the time WWWY was happening

 

That was a rumor. Along with the rumor good charlotte and adtr would tour together as well

 

I’m pretty sure the rumor was ADTR/Good Charlotte/Boys Like Girls

Ehh not really? Punk and hardcore have always crossed paths. There are plenty of examples. Plus mixed genre shows are really fun.

 

There is a thing called outbreak that does this very thing. Also, who the fuck cares? It’s cool and diverse shows are great.

Not really a surprise tbh. Lot of mixed rap/hardcore lineups have been happening lately.

$uicide Boys brought out Turnstile and Trash Talk on one of their recent tours

 

NFG will almost assuredly be doing a big Catalyst headliner.

 

That’s the most normal lineup tbh

theres a new wave of hardcore and hip hop colliding

 

Trauma Ray and Glare are also shoegaze bands which stick out even than Jesus Piece.

 

I was a hardcore kid 20 years ago and we all listened to hip hop. That's how we learned to hardcore dance - by bouncing to Mac Dre and 3 6 Mafia.
