I think I could leave the Bengals fandom behind with minimal issues. It would make life less stressful and free up time with the family. I get over losses pretty quickly, usually within a few hours.

I sometimes get super hyped up about things and then completely abandon them later. I also get super bad buyer's remorse before I even buy something and talk myself out of it rather quickly. I think I could shut that part of my brain down easily enough.

But I don't want to

 

I don’t think I’d ever just swap fandoms (like drop the Colts, root for the Seahawks instead) but probably could/would get gradually less interested in a sport overall and drop a fandom that way and maybe pick up a different team if I had a reason to get back into it

that’s kinda what I’ve done with hockey (Thrashers -> Predators -> Kraken, as my interest in the sport grows and wanes over time)
