Great year for bad games too

 

I have purchased so many fucking games this month due to insane deals and not having anything to spend money on rn as I’m locked down at my parents house under strict supervision so that I can stay clean. Anyway I literally forgot I bought persona 4 a few days ago and just found wasteland 3 in my cart ready to go. plus many many more. not even mad about it and realize I won’t be able to play many for a while but the deals are too good to pass up and I want my games library across all platforms, both steam and physical, to stretch across all different genres and eras of games.

so in risk of rain 2 I literally can’t get past the first stage unless I use the huntress which I’ve gotten to stage 4 a few times. commando and bandit just feel so much harder to use

 

Commando is horrible, in all the RoR games imo. Huntress is good to start with, Bandit is all about the using stealth and getting behind and criting everything, you can actually take down an early boss way faster with Bandit.

Play on drizzle first and get used to the stages, learn the items, item knowledge is really important in the game so you can strategize builds.

 

See for bandit it’s super hard to utilize his skill set with how chaotic things get I don’t feel like I can effectively stealth and position behind

 

Huntress is op

 

Picked up the XSX today, but due to holidays and family stuff won't be able to set it up and play around with it until the 26th. Prob gonna buy a month of GPU and hop on Starfield.

 

Oh my god, we got halfway through the shooting section of a way out and we stopped because Sarah has to leave early for her flight and I thought it would just save because it seemed we got to a new checkpoint…it didn’t! I’m so annoyed lol.

RoR2 is very much like Soulsborne games where it has its own unique rhythm that you need to learn which of course only comes with playing more. There is good content on youtube for beginners, its well worth investing in.

I know the average time is supposed to be five minutes and I’m pretty good on that for the first level or two but sometimes I have a hard time just finding the teleporter which wastes time
