  4. It's sooooo good. Borderline perfect and absolutely on par with Halloween. So cozy, too. Might have to squeeze that into the rotation this week.

Working through the Silent Night, Deadly Night films now. Garbage Day!!!!!

  5. Also, it's the last day of work before I get an 11-day break and my Vinegar Syndrome shipment is set to arrive in a few hours!

Not best or favorite, but what’s the scariest movie to you?

  11. Skinamarink aside? Jacob's Ladder or The Blair Witch Project.

Goddamn I still need to watch Jacob's Ladder. I was supposed to get to it in October.

I was absolutely terrified by 30 Days of Night as a teen. One of the bleakest movies from the pre-streaming era for me

  17. Hahaha I read that as:

“I was absolutely terrified by 13 Going On 30.”

I always go blank when asked “scariest movie” but Blair Witch Project and Hereditary sound about right

As Above So Below comes to mind for me, everything in the catacombs feels so claustrophobic

  20. Rowan5215

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

I might actually say Black Christmas OG. Billy scares me more than any supernatural force or idea I've ever seen, and the characters he's killing feel so real and well defined it's even more terrifying

honourable mention idk. that one scene with the ghost in Pulse?

Blair Witch Project may be the only horror film that’s able to get me to the point of actual fear, even though I’ve experienced it 100 times. I absolutely love watching it with the volume up in a dark room. The sound of rocks banging and sticks breaking all around you is such a simple tactic, but my god it works.

I’m gonna commit to giving Skinamrink another try. It’s just the least ADHD-friendly film in recent memory lol.

  22. If ANYTHING had actually happened in Skinamarink, it’d be a top 3. But noooo.
