I have no familial ties to any sport at all

 

Im pretty sure I'm out on fantasy next year and gonna disassociate myself from football as much as possible

 

I think I definitely could.

I found myself WAY too into the bruins growing up and besides just 1 moment of joy in 2011, it was devastation every year. And around 2015 I simply just had to step away. Didn’t choose a new team, but just stepped back

I’ve found myself less emotional with sports as I’ve gotten older, with football being the only one left I truly follow.

And I honestly think fantasy football is America’s new past time cause without it I ain’t watching 98% of these games

 

I *hate* the nfl. Its such a hard business to continue to support.

but hell if i dont love a good parlay.

The thing that broke me was the Jesse James caught that football play. Ever since then I just do not care that much.

Fantasy football has become so boring to me over the last few years. Just not very engaging at all

 

i quit on [REDACTED BASEBALL TEAM] even though they were the first sports team i loved

 

Betting responsibly > fantasy

hitting a fun $20 parlay is so much better than winning a week of fantasy.

I used to pay close attention to the pens but once I got rid of cable it was a lot harder and now I kinda pay attention throughout the year and go to a few games with my buddy who has season tickets and then watch the playoffs. The pirates have been a joke my entire life except for like 2 years so I’ve just never really cared about them that much. Plus no salary cap in baseball is a joke.

 

like straight up i told my wife back in 2018 "i wanna go to milwaukee to see the new arena and the bucks" for my 30th bday and she was like :/ :/ :/ how about anything else and then she reallzed milwaukee was in wisconsin so she had the cheese weekend of her life and was actually stopped by TSA coming home because they thought the amount of cheese in her carry on was "suspicious".

she also loves fiserv bc they have hella good sushi and poke options.

Its funny actually bc my SIL has been obsessed with corgis her entire life and when i found out about @Max_123 corgis i went to share the page with her and saw she literally already follows them lol
