Wake me up when we stop talking about how much we dislike Waterparks.

 

I hate waterparks not really a water amusement park type

 

Going to six flags today. I don’t think the water park is open.

 

some waterparks songs rip. some are absolutely terrible. the online persona and live show is off putting. feels like they’ve played the same sized rooms for 8 years

Thats crazy. He was the main songwriter of a lot of their more recent records.

 

it’s weird to me because they have fans who really show up for them too. like, they fill up the rooms they play on a headliner and they get really good reception at fests… their fans come out to fests and it’s clear because they love to mimic the dude’s look.
i feel like the music is fine and the guy is really clever, but they just can’t take the next step ever.

I went into the Waterparks pit at Adjacent after not seeing them live for maybe four years and had the time of my life. Crazy part is I was most likely under the average age of dudes in the pit and I'm 22.

 

How many were waiting for Knocked Loose

A handful of people were much more for stoked for KL. I can only imagine the whiplash that the younger crowd got, especially the people who only knew blink-182 like the guys at the barricade.

That said, I think I'm one of the few people in history to walk away from a festival with a Waterparks guitar pick and a Knocked Loose setlist.

 

I was also in that pit only because I was waiting for Knocked Loose. Waterparks were very much not for me lol

 

i couldn’t figure out if the singer wears that giant jacket for every show
