MOTY is still Kenny/Ospreay 1 at WK in January. Just so many absolutely iconic moments. Hard to beat final boss Kenny.

Best tag match involved FTR. FTR/Bucks at All In, and FTR/Bullet Club Gold in that 58 minute masterpiece on an early episode of Collision.

Most disappointing match still gotta be Cody not winning over Roman at Mania right?

 

most disappointing finish for sure. the match is excellent though, just a stinky stinky end. I also would put MJF/Jay White and Cena/Theory up there as well.

MOTY is tough as a whole because there's a lot of great stuff. Both Omega/Ospreay matches, Ospreay/Speedball, MJF/Danielson, Tag Titles and Women's title at WM N1, IC Title at WM N2, Becky/Trish, Becky/Tiffany. Probably lots more that I'm forgetting, but this year ruled

 

I am genuinely happy to see someone else post Bakabella on here. He's honestly one of my favorite people in wrestling.

 

Blue bracket could end up in a 5 way tie

Claudio beats Bryan, Kingston over Andrade, and Brody over Garcia, everyone except Garcia has 9.
I think the first two will happen for sure or Claudio vs Bryan goes to a draw.

So Danielson would have 10, Kingston and Andrade both with 9, Claudio 7, Brody 6

Kingston advances to the final vs Danielson on Dynamite due to head to head tie break

or they do the crazy 5 way

 

MOTY is Swerve/Hangman Deathmatch followed by Omega/Osperay at WK and MJF/Danielson Iron man.


Most disappointing is Roman/Cody.

 

My top 5 MOTY. Haven't ordered the last 5 just yet, but I know these aren't changing.

My favorite marches were Sami/KO vs. Tge Usos or any of the FTR/Bullet Club Gold matches. They played up those feuds perfectly & kept the tension running high throughout. Most disappointing match was Rollins/Shinsuke. Went on way too long & Shin looks checked out.

 

Swap in the Danielson/MJF Iron Man for the Vikingo match and that's my list.

Most disappointing kind of has to be Tribal Warfare. They broke their own rules in the match just to have Roman do the thing he always does, and the reveal was so damn soft.

 

my top 5 MOTY. my #1 is the only ranking I feel solid about, the rest are all just masterworks. all things considered, all of the drama, all of the IWC bullshit, this has probably been one of/if not the best in ring years in wrestling maybe ever. my list is 95% AEW, there are some other stuff I still need to see but as of now--
