Bit late with this one, but thought I'd Flex

 

Gonna give this album a break until the new year. Initial hype is definitely fading, but I still think this album is great. It has so much life and energy that I thought Neighborhoods was missing. It has great variety in style/song type which I thought Cali was missing. Nine was great for me, but I think OMT sits right on top of it. It's weird though, I definitely remember playing Nine way more and wanting to return to it more compared to the weeks following OMT. However, I remember skipping songs on Nine after a month or so and for OMT the highs are great and I still feel no urge to skip any songs.

Still crazy to think that Tom wrote Terrified in 2017. Like, while he was releasing that half-assed Whisper acoustic EP he just had this gem in his back pocket.

 

I really wish him and Travis did that BcR anniversary tour and EP, but maybe that would’ve put more of a divide between them all. But fuck I want more BCR/see those songs live.

I kind of only half watched it but a lot of comments online are saying it was really poorly edited together? I didn't really notice

 

Yeah, weird to have a live footage music video for a song they never played live on this tour…wonder if that had something to do with it.

I haven’t listened to this album in awhile. I view it as the new Neighborhoods that just sounds more like blink.

 

Damaged was the working title for Hurt.

 

I still am listening to it a couple times a week.

 

I listened to it all the way through yesterday for the first time in a while and am happy to report that it still whips

 

I haven’t listened to it in a minute. But since the music hasn’t changed, I assure you all, it’s still great.
