"Pol Roger" is just incredible. Could be one of my favorite Jimmy Eat World tracks. It's perfect.

Yeah, big Copeland fan too. Ixora is a phenomenal album. Pol Roger is okay for me.

What caused you to bring up Copeland?

I really like Ixora, but it pales in comparison to just about anything JEW has released.

I love Polaris... so I'm all about It Matters currently from this.

Really great from my first few listens

I know I mentioned this song before in this thread, but does anyone else get some feeling or "the feels" listening to 'The End is Beautiful?'

Gosh, the chorus is so mesmerizing in my opinion.

Ixora is amazing and it ranks high up with my favorite records, where JEW records tend to be as well. Not sure which I like more. I know for sure I love Futures more than Ixora, but Ixora practically ties with the rest. What an important record for my musical development.

Ixora is definitely in the same league as some of the best JEW albums.

Ixora is good, but I wouldn't take it over a single JEW record post-Static. Which I guess underlines how fantastic this band is.

i dont want to play this game

JEW and Copeland are two of my all time favorite bands and they both have released masterful albums. No need to compare. I hate doing that.

Ixora and Futures are both top 5 albums for me

Ixora wins over most anything for me though

I haven't listened to this yet though. Been trying to find a time when I can actually sit down and take it in which should be in a few hours!

  21. I love JEW but Ixora is way better than most of their discography.

Didnt mean to start a comparison battle. Been following both bands since their first albums. Both are two or my favorite bands.

  23. Haha yeah that was my bad for mentioning Copeland. I don't find anything wrong with comparing the two, but I'm gonna bite my tongue on my opinion regarding the comparison because on the release day of this wonderful album we should keep the focus on it!

One of the group chats I'm a part of includes like 12 people total, and this album had elicited praise across literally all of us which is super rare haha. Really awesome to see that happen. I think most of us are gonna wind up attending the release show tomorrow, which I wasn't even planning on doing before today.

Trevor, I agree about the love for Ixora and the twin edition but this is JEW day. Love most of the album. It Matters hasnt hit home for me yet but still a solid song and a solid album.
