And it seems kinda obvious this cuck angle is Miro/Lana's idea...at some point its up to writers/bookers to say "no".

There's basically only 2 ways to pay off this move:

1. Big E becomes his manager or corners for him in a big match and they can actually find sympathy in the role. Would take a damn miracle to pull that off.

2. You're pushing him to fill the Bronn Breaker role after his call up as a top heel, he starts cutting promos about how he learned to like hurting people, and goes all "Randy as he's about to punt someone" as a character. Still kinda f'd, but, its a natural way to work the story.

Anything less, dude's character is completely dead, he keeps getting threats, and all for a random NXT main event?

I think you can easily do the 2nd option without having to do the whole “I’m unsafe in real life” angle. Just have him kayfabe beating the shit out of people. No need to blur the lines
