to clarify, if they've had a single match this year they aren't eligible. so Danhausen doesn't count as a non-wrestler

 

Yeah, its Renee 100%. Excalibur is a close 2nd for me, I can absolutely feel his absence on Collision.

Funny that this answer is usually Paul heyman each year, and yet he hasnt been in enough matches/angles to matter

man this story line with Ridge is just poor taste IMO

 

This one is tougher than it probably should be. It's not FTR or the Bucks, and it's not the Usos.

I honestly think, as short as it's been, that MJF/Cole was my favorite tag team storyline wise or otherwise all year. They were incredibly over when Cole was healthy and that pop at All In for the double clothesline was magic.

On the WWE side, maybe the Creeds? I'm sure I'm forgetting something obvious, but really, 2023 was a rough year for Tag Team wrestling overall due to injuries and such. Still sucks Aussie Open is basically no more. They would have had a huge 2023.

 

Its probably still FTR, amazingly, but yeah, what a bad year for tag teams. KO/Sami were the first half of the year...Bucks fell off hard...reasonable argument that Cole/MJF are right there.

Feels like there's been more non-tag team champions/contenders than there has actual tag teams most of the year. Also, its been a big faction/trios kinda year.

 

I wonder if Big E gave his blessing… but either way it’s totally unnecessary and you could literally do a million other things to give him a story

 

I really want to go to Collision this weekend but the lady just had surgery today and I don’t know that she’d be able to go or stay at home with the kids. I’m just so shocked they went to the bigger arena when they didn’t really sell out the smaller arena for Dynamite tapings here

Doesn't really matter about E’s blessing or not / ridge and his family were getting legit death threats after that so I dunno why you’d wanna kayfabe it

 

he also dropped gargano on his head/neck on an nxt match a few years ago too.

can i just say how disappointed i was with final battle last weekend? lee/taylor was the only match that delivered for me. every other match had either several botches, or was badly overbooked. roh is the LAST place i look for sports entertainment, and alot of the nese/page match was hard to watch. taurus damn near murdered vikingo, yet a pair of moves and vikingo got the win. that six man jay tribute was just as hard to get through. was so burned out that i left before the main event womens title match.

so tony's reactions and opinion of the show was an odd listen.
