I don't think I can listen to NNF today with how Jimmy sounds

 

He sounds better after the first portion. I woke up with it playing and noticed he sounded horrible then went back to sleep and woke up halfway through and he sounds normal-ish.

 

He sounds 150 years old

 

It just sounds like he’s straining and my ears don’t like it.

 

Between this and Kenny DeForest getting hit and dying, a very tough couple of weeks for young comedians.

Gulman special was fine. Pretty surprised at the Chipotle bit, as that has been done to death. Sebastian had a very similar joke in his special like 10 year ago, to the point he even used corn as the ingredient.

Gulman is too smart for that.

A bidet fucked me up in Busan last year. Had no idea it was one, finished going to the bathroom and SPLOOSH just SOAKED me/my khaki shorts. I was in the bathroom stall afterwards for a good 20-30 mins SWEATING in the summer heat trying to dry myself/shorts off with TP since there weren't any paper towels in there. Just a terrible experience.

 

My in-laws got a Toto washlet in their primary bathroom and so my toddler demands we speed walk upstairs and use the “magic toilet” every time she has to pee when we’re visiting. I can’t be going up stairs wily nily with my decrepit late 30s body.

 

Went to Second City last night with my wife and in-laws. Slash sat behind us!

 

I want to believe Slash is a regular at improv shows.

Also reminds me that El Hefe from NOFX is part of the comedy community in LA, taking classes and playing with indie teams and hanging out at shows, so I have in fact performed for the Slash of 80s/90s skate punk.
