Their filets are *usually* very good. Never really had an issue with them cooking it wrong either.

Have always had great filets there. They do a pretty decent prime rib as well.

 

yeah I got a filet and it was cooked perfectly.

 

Paying $20ish for a steak at a chain feels better to me than paying 60+ for a steak at a fancy ass place which doesn’t even give you a side. And then it’ll prob be rare as fuck when it comes out.

Now the question is: are you a proper steak eater that does medium or less, or are you a heathen that gets them medium well to well???????

 

Oh I hella agree. The first time I went to a really fancy steak place was on my sister’s bachelorette trip in Nashville this year and the prices were fucking insane. The steak was very good but not enough to justify it. I can make a filet just as good and it costs a 4th of the price at most.

 

Steak is one food where there isn't a significant difference between a 20-30 dollar steaks and a 100 dollar steak. Assuming both are cooked right anyway.

The fancy steak houses are good but so damn expensive and I just got an amazing filet, side of fries and Caesar salad for like $25 before tip.

I will die at the 99’s before I go to some fancy ass place charging me $70 for a steak with zero sides and then forcing me to buy an app which is a hotdog with gold on it

 

First time order? Medium. If it's correct then I trust them to do a proper medium rare.

 

This is me too, mostly because some places medium rare is TOO medium rare and theyll cook a medium much more the way id like it.

 

Actually going to a hella good steakhouse sunday night for an early christmas with my parents. Porterhouses and garlic mashed all around baby.

 

I had the outback chicken with their macaroni. Very good.

 

I usually make steak when we have it but Sarah cooked for us the other night because I got home late. She used a cast iron pan and that shit was like rare seared tuna lol. I had to throw it on for another minute or two.

I like going to a fancy restaurant for a good steak now and then. But also, Outback has good steaks lol.

Best steak I’ve ever had was some dry aged strip thing at a place in Eureka Springs. It was probably like $70?
