Xenogears is literally my fav game of all time so my interest just shot up.


Also I'm still on TiTS 3rd.........is the whole game literally just going around and collecting lost party members lol. It's an interesting concept, and I'm glad there's points where you HAVE to use more than one party so I have to pay attention to everyone.

 

I’ve seen it in stores in a ps5 case so I just assumed there was a next gen version

 

the ps5 version is just a patched ps4 version. hope that helps.

I love that about 3rd too.

And to clarify, all I mean about the Xenogears comment is that all of a sudden the last chapter throws in mech fights where you choose which body part to attack. It's a very strange thing to throw in at the end of an otherwise standard turn-based RPG.

I think that more than anything else before makes it feel like a game that got split into two parts.

 

That's still super cool to know! I think I'm the TiTS trilogy we've seen 2? things that could be considered mecha and then there's Pater......and I've seen on figure sites THERE IS actual mecha in CS so I really do look forward to that.

Any game that has mecha gets my attention.

Getting back into FFXIV. Only MMO that has held my attention honestly, don't know why I stopped playing it. Might be able to finish all the remaining story before the new expansion this summer.

 

Playstation either just started a 'Wrapped' feature or I forgot about it from last year. My top games by hours this year were -

1. Jedi: Survivor
2. Elden Ring
3. Ghost of Tsushima
4. Cyberpunk
5. Quake 2 (lol. love me some old shooters)

 

Jedi Survivor is an overlooked gem this year

 

Bit of a rocky start with bugs and stuff but I really enjoyed it yeah

 

My Jedi Survivor experience was so much better than my Jedi Fallen Order experience in gameplay and performance alike

Not to say the issues didn't exist because they were definitely there but yeah

 

PC was rouuuugh lol but the game is incredible.

 

I was a victim of the bounty hunter side quest bug that kept me from getting platinum on the game for about a month. Other than that, though, it wasn't too bad on PS5. Heard that PC was pretty rough though yeah hahah

 

Yeah it wasn't too bad on PS5, JFO on PS4 was miserable though

 

I'm trying to remember what my experience was like with JFO, I feel like I remember clipping through floors and the platforming being wonky for a while really early on

 

yeah I don't remember my JFO experience being bad at all, I think I played it on One X. One of my all time favorite games.

(I know people had issues though, maybe I was just oblivious)
