where do you all find new music outside of chorus? serious question! is it from playlists on spotify or apple music? certain journalists or bloggers? critics? i find like, 96% of my new music just from browsing threads on here but, at a certain point this website is curated to the tastes of those who post the most on it so, i am certain theres a ton of stuff i am missing.

 

Most of what I find is either on here, Audiotree or Bandcamp.

 

Either a bud of mine recommends something to me or I sift through the Apple Music’s similar artists when I’m on a band's/artist’s profile

 

100% of new bands I check out are from chorus. All of my friends are swifties.

I have a few friends that send me stuff and then a few old AP posters I follow on instagram that have solid recs.

 

non-metal stuff I get mostly from this site. metal stuff I follow a lot of labels on instagram and a playlist on Spotify that tracks new releases
