My day:

Noon - my Baltimore practice space to grab my gear
1:30 PM - FedEx office to print some flyers
2 PM to 3:30 PM - drive to DC, park, load in gear at the band’s usual rental practice space (both the bassist and drummer live in DC so it’s a compromise)
3:30 to 4 PM - SHORT break spent going over recordings of newer songs with drummer in my car
4 PM to 8 PM - pracrice with drummer and bassist. Very exhausting. All my pedals used and singing the whole time. Going through some parts of songs 10-12 times to get rhythm changes exactly right.
8 to 830 PM - short break to cut the flyers and decide on the setlist
830 PM to 930 PM - drive back to Baltimore, go to the Tuesday open mic in Baltimore to pass flyers and promote the show up here (while the drummer passes flyers for our DC show at a DC open mic)
930 PM to 10 PM - passing flyers and talking to friends
10 PM - set up both amps and pedals, play two intense songs, break it all down
