Gross that he is playing with TMP. Luckily he’s doing another show the next night in Portland so anyone that really wants to see him doesn’t have to support TMP.

  2. Oh wow, fuck that. The Harry Corrigan association may or may not still exist so that’s why I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. Nobody really knows what’s going on but them. Publicly choosing to figuratively and literally support a rapist’s band is another thing entirely. Welp. Very disappointed. That was fun while it lasted.

Used my glasses from Higher Lonely Power vinyl to checkout the partial eclipse today. Who knew those would come in handy?

  10. I did the same! Was handing 'em over to all my neighbors as well. Band really came in clutch today.

Curious how high folks have this on their EOY lists considering its as dated as it possibly can be for 2023. It's top 3 for me and Im not a huge fireworks fan.

Huge Fireworks fan and it's an easy #1.

Goodnight Tomb is one of my favorite songs of the year but I don't revisit most other songs on the album. I Want To Start A Religion and Megachurch may be the only ones I've listened to more than 5 or 6 times

How Did It Used to Be So Easy is far and away my favorite.

This and Gaslight are my albums of the year. This whole thing still rips.

I waited 9 years for this, no way I was going to let it coming out too early this year keep it out of the #1 spot

  20. It's my #1 since the first listen and nothing has shifted it all year. I wanted this album almost more than anything since hearing Demitasse.

Pretty much in a three way tie for #1 with Hot Mulligan and Spanish Love Songs. It'll probably be #3 on my official rankings, but it's really just a formality. I've never had such a hard time choosing.

#2 for me, the new Trophy Eyes record sits at the top but this album is still incredible
