Newcastle defending like trash just as I start to invest in their back line.

It's nit just the defending which has been trash. Isaak looks half asleep and Joelinton looks like he's been speaking to Steve Bruce.

They haven't really had much choice, but Newcastle playing the same team for like 6 games in three weeks has caught up to them.

They look absolutely knackered, physically and mentally.

  13. We’ve finally ran into team with more injuries than us.

And we got a couple guys back.

Feels like we used everything in the tank against PSG and then United.

The game in the week against Milan is going to be a horror show. Given that Lascelles and Schar both look like they've taken knocks in this game, I don't even know whether we can field a back four which can run.

Im sorry, but I'm on Tim Sherwood's side. He's right when he says everyone's played three times this week and that Newcastle have no right for preferential treatment. Perhaps Howe should trust his squad more? I mean, Lewis Hall's has had one start all season and he's fit. It's not rival teams' fault the players Howe has at his disposal obviously aren't trusted.

Did anyone ask for preferential treatment? We have a small squad and like 10 injuries. It's not about trust. We don't have anyone suitable for the games.

Whole NEW team looks toasted. No gas left in tank. Next few weeks are going to be difficult given the fixture congestion.

EDIT: esp since they face FUL for next league game and they just decided to show they can score goals

  23. Porro had one of the worst debuts I had seen since I started watching Spurs. But he’s transformed into a fantastic player. Knew this system would suit him in possession, but he’s really surprised me how much he’s improved defensively. Keeping both him and Udogie long-term could be tough. They could be the best fullback pairing in the league in the near future.

I didn’t know Girona is owned by City Football Group (47%) and Pep’s brother (as part of Girona Football Group, 16%) lol
