Ethan Hawke is looking a bit like Kevin Bacon here...

  8. Been a while since I read the book, but based on the trailer this seems a lot more explicit about what's going on.

no. no joke. The verbage above says Ethan Hawke is in it. Near the end of the trailer, with the greyness, I thought it was Kevin Bacon.

Pretty sure there's a shot of Kevin Bacon in the trailer where he does look exactly like Ethan Hawke

Ha. I had no idea they were both in it. I IMDB'ed it. carry on.

I loved Mr. Robot. Very excited for this. I'm hoping this comes to theaters in PDX.

Hahahahaha Sam Esmail is a next level filmmaker

So many Mr. Robot easter eggs too lmao I legitimately almost cried when they established the finale as canon

What a needle drop and unexpected discourse that will arise from the end lol (a fun one, not a serious culture war one)

This was great, definitely noticed Sam Esmail’s unique directing techniques that I remembered from Mr Robot, down to the font. Compelling story, suspenseful as hell and engaging.

Yeah this was alright. Definitely felt its length and a bit scatterbrained in tone. Outside of a few moments this really felt much more Shyamalan than Esmail. But it succeeds in dropping the viewer into what that experience would probably be like, at least if you were a rich person in an isolated location. Honestly have to applaud the ending because how else do you end a story like that lol. I’ll have to read the book sometime
