i understand what you’re saying. hypothetically, yes, the promise of a healthy zion and ingram is better than most young teams. he was drafted number one and touted as the best prospect since lebron for a reason lmao. the reason people keep arguing with you on this is you’re pretending that that promise, which has been the furthest thing from reality, makes the pelicans younger and better than other teams when in reality they’ve been surpassed by no less than five other teams in the league that have younger cores that have played more meaningful basketball than zion ever will at this point in way less time. either the goalposts are being moved or you’re deliberately failing to understand the discussion.

I responded to a very specific point - if the Kings are included as an upcoming team then the Pels should be included also cause we keep beating them. That’s not a crazy take or a willfully annoying argument. It’s logical.
