  5. lol I’m definitely hoping it’s Smith between those two.

  6. He has ties to the area. Interesting.

This is your life, are you who you want to be?

This is so lazy and lacking context.

Harry Maguire won player of the month for November. Sweet, sweet redemption!

  9. Both won the ball and their follow thru caught the leg of an opposing player. Neither were intentional. Neither should be a red.

I mean, the follow through's aren't even remotely similar situations. In Kiwior's shot, as defender I'd be angry at myself for being so late to blocking his shot and leaving myself out like that. That's on the Luton defender. In Romero's challenge he throw's all of his weight into the attackers leg and completely wipes him out. It's reckless, emotional, and especially in the context of what he got away with minutes before, brain dead.

Even your own fanbase thinks this is a bad take.

This is mad. He didn't even do much other than hug his staff. Meanwhile, Klopp is running down the touchline in a sprint and gets nothing.

At St George's Park tomorrow for a work thing, gonna subtly hint that this is bullshit. Just admit "We're giving him this yellow because we don't like him."

  13. Someone on Reddit doesn’t represent a fanbase. Regardless, Romero gets that judgement because he’s had bad tackles in the past. I get it. But I don’t see how people just jump to “reckless emotional brain dead” for this particular play. He’s not even looking at Enzo when it happens. He clears the ball, with force, and his leg went to Enzo’s.

And I’ve seen what Kiwior did been given as a red before. And that’s my main issue. The inconsistency. Romero wasn’t intentional. Neither was Kiwor.

I think penalizing excessive celebration in any professional sports game is absurd. ITS. A. GAME.

I'm NEA about what Arteta gets upto on the touchline. Not sure why the Premier League frown upon human emotion so much. Do they really value "professional" ethics THAT much?

What I do want Arteta held accountable over is what he's done to the poor Arsenal training ground dog!

  16. It’s weird that he gets a punishment for THAT but never gets one when he’s out of his box so much otherwise. Been such an odd year for officials.

I also find the box thing weird. Like, does it matter that much? As long as he stays in the vague area, I think it's fine. Rules for rules sake.

  19. Again, for me it’s just inconsistency. Ange got a yellow for coming out of his box earlier this year. He’s fairly calm during games. But countless others don’t get one for the same thing. Just like your point on Klopp running sprints down the field after they score and nothing (as it should be).

The thing that baffles me is that "sympathy" penalty Fernandes gave him against Everton? Very counterproductive when looking at that now.

I mean, they tried everything else. Coming out and admitting it was a charity penalty probably didn't do his confidence any good though

The fact that he’s suspended for this but Pep faced no repercussions for his dramatics during the Spurs game. Lol.
