I’d love to hit the Anaheim show but I’d just feel weird doing it considering everything with Max

    yep it was that tour

I was actually going to make the drive down to Austin for my birthday that weekend and also see Megadeth/Lamb of God/Hatebreed/Trivium and a live taping of Jamey Jasta's podcast, but I wound up scrapping the whole thing. Luckily I still got to see the Megadeth tour back home in Dallas, but everything else was a bust.

Pat Flynn changed his personal Instagram to a Have Heart instagram page and deleted all his personal info from it. It’s happening….

are we still lucky to be here? Prestigious

disagree. hulder, worm, and devil master are all pretty great. i haven't listened to necrofier but considering they've got malignant altar and insect warfare dudes in their band, it's gotta at least be quality.

Darn, I wish the LA date wasn't the day before Sick New World. I'll already be in Vegas that day. Oh well, I'll at least get to catch the movements tour over there

I loved last years lineup, but agreed I'm excited to get to see hulder and worm. devil master put on a great show too.

Hell yeah! Cant wait...To the disappointment of most of you, this tour will do just fine without anyone from the Chorus.fm boards and Reddit. Sorry :)

  17. Aragon feels like way too big a venue for Say Anything, but what do I know. They were billed way higher on Riot Fest than I thought they should be too.

All drama, child abuse, and phone sex with minors aside... Some of those Say Anything venues feel way too big.

1-2k cap rooms? Fine. But swinging for 5k cap rooms, album play or not, in 2023 is pretty wild.

Nah, you're right. Some of these are way too big. Doubt it'll get cancelled, or even downgraded, because they'll be able to sell ~50% of the venue or whatever but... I doubt the draw will be whatever it is they think it's going to be.

I wouldn't be shocked if they really pushed for that Riot Fest and WWYF billing to help book this tour. They were billed above a bunch of bands they are undeniably less popular than at this point in their careers (but who probably weren't too picky about billing at fests like that).

    Big venues for
didnt post but that was my thought as well. To be fair, the say anything crowd at wwwy was bigger and more engaged than I expected

Say Anything venue in Brooklyn is like 2k which I assume should do just fine. I assume most people showing up to this dropped out of SA discourse back in 2009 or so and won't know any of the happenings.

I think there is a good amount of “reunion” hype for them this time. I know a few people who were pretty disappointed that they didn’t do a tour around their last album in 2018. And (surprisingly) not a lot of a people know/care about everything that’s come out about Max

Agreed. The Atlanta venue they picked is well above their popularity and genre too. It gets like 1 or 2 pop punk shows a year. The next one is NeckDeep and that's not sold out yet. Manchester Orchestra did 2 nights, but they're a 'local' band.

We'll see if the promoters and organizers know their shit.
