Wonder if they pull-in somebody to replace them. There's a few very obvious replacements (Green Day, Foos, and Blink all come to mind; a few others but they'd be on the smaller tip).

The line-up could arguably work just as well without one, I guess. And KROQ usually has a "surprise act" on tap anyway that's on the bigger tip so... Who knows.

Might be talking about the same tour but I had tickets to see LB in Buffalo with Spiritbox at a 1,800 cap room before it was cancelled. big RIP

 

I think it was underway, but was immediately cancelled a few dates in because of the pandemic. I might be misremembering though

 

Orlando is Def Leppard/Journey/Cheap Trick. Camping World Stadium 7/10

 

It sounds like there won’t be a replacement and RHCP are playing a “make-good” show for ticket-holders instead of them being replaced. It’s cool but also kind of a weird move? I do imagine a good amount of ticket holders were in it just for them though, so it’s cool they’re doing it and I respect it. I’d just like to know if there’ll be tickets available for the make-up show. I’d love to see RHCP again ASAP.

Something funny I saw someone point out is that this is now the 2nd time they’ve cancelled on a KROQ event. I totally forgot that they cancelled their Weenie Roast 2016 performance literally the moment they were set to take stage. Folks weren’t happy about that…

Was buying TBS and it had me wonder when we'll get the Sad Summer 2024 announcement. Looked it up and they announced 1/18 this year. Curious about next year's lineup.

 

Looks like NOFX is going to be announcing some openers for the international 2024 tour dates tomorrow and Friday. Could give some insight into who'll be on the US dates too.

 

Would have loved that tour 5 years ago, but with how Max has been the last few years I could care less to see it. It’s a smart cash grab though and probably the last chance he has to be relevant.

 

As an aside, read through some of the Max Bemis drama and just...damn...it's like one bad decision stacked on top of another. Couple must be struggling brutally financially with all those kids and (likely) no health insurance.
