The main cup gives even players who are struggling a second chance, essentially. Unless you scored very poorly GW14, the odds are well in your favour to be drawn into it. Are you sure there isn't a cup section next to where it says leagues and cups when you scroll down? You've got to click where it says cups and then scroll to overall cup.

 

Oh I see what you mean! I thought you were talking about our chorus league. I see now for the overall cup that I've got drawn against someone who has Pedro Neto, Maddison, and Dan Burn in their squad lol

Good game so far. Fast paced, good goals, big challenges, and a great atmosphere.

Luton have been running around and putting in some pretty hefty fouls. Can't see them keeping it up all game though.

Captaining Saka seemed like such a good idea for this game until he's done basically fuck all after the first assist.

 

I’d genuinely be over the moon if his only issue was a rough patch in front of goal this year. This is a guy who downs tools any time things aren’t going his way or he’s out of favor with a manager, puts in absolutely zero effort from a pressing or tracking back standpoint, is a brain dead footballer when it comes to game IQ.

It’s just funny because United fans have been extremely patient with Rashford and all we’re rewarded with is a player who looks like he’d rather be anywhere else doing anything else when he’s on the pitch. He’s got all the talent in the world, but I believe he’s wasted all his good will and that his time at United is coming to an end. Would love to be proven wrong long term, but I think it’s best for all parties involved if he fucks off to PSG in the summer when Mbappe goes to Madrid.

 

Hopefully that's the goal that breaks Luton's spirit for the rest of the season!
