Pattinson's voice for the Heron is not what I'd expect from some one doing their first VA gig:

 

When Pattinson goes in, he goes innnnn

 

Idk if I want to watch any trailers or clips of the movie before I'm sitting in the theater

 

If I didn’t know it was Pattinson I would have assumed it was the Japanese VO speaking English. Pattinson has the sound down.

 

Would be very cool if this makes a killing in the US

 

No showtimes I showing up for the dolby cinema near me. Hopefully it's just taking a while. No way they don't show it in dolby.

What a beautiful film

 

I want to say I loved it but think I need a 2nd viewing before I'm quite there.

The animation was incredible. Visually beautiful but the story didn't really connect with me emotionally like some of his others films.

Also the dude a couple seats down was shaking his popcorn and candy 90% of the movie so that didn't help.

 

Just got back from the theater, I will go so far as to say I loved it. Definitely want to see the dub too.

 

oh yeah I'm definitely going back and watching the dub if my stupid theater keeps it around for more than a week

 

Not out here until the 26th but I'm glad I'll get to see it this year at least.

 

I recommend getting very stoned for anyone that enjoys that sort of thing.

Do you want to hear it?’ And he whips out his iPhone and plays some stuff that he’s just been doing in the Memos app and it was already the voice. I was like, ‘Oh, bingo, you’ve already got the character.’”

 

Enjoyed this quite a lot, going to be thinking about it for a while.

I just saw this and enjoyed it. finally a film that's on my wavelength about how much birds are fucking assholes

I will say I need to say it again because I had the single worst theatre experience of my entire life and could barely fucking focus

 

I’m trying to figure out if my AMC is showing the version with subtitles or the English dub. It doesn’t say. Do I have to call them?

 

On my AMC app it would say if it’s subbed or dubbed. I saw it subbed but I heard the dub is very good so either way it will be a good experience

 

Yeah, just thought about taking my kid and he can read very well but he would enjoy the dub more

 

The AMC app should specify under each listing. They are doing showings of both.

Maybe check Fandango if you don't see them there.

 

Christian Bale was really bad.
