Update on Remnant II: I never want to see a squid in my life again

 

Hit Chapter 6 of Alan Wake 1 and I'm very conflicted on this game. The story is fantastic and engaging, but the gameplay is such a slog and doesn't really evolve all that much. Will almost certainly end up playing American Nightmare and Alan Wake 2 regardless, but it'll probably be a minute before I dive into them (pun intended)

 

Anybody play Chants of Sennaar? Seems like it could be really good

 

What does Discovery content mean?

 

I know it was a few pages ago but it sucks Halo gets a second season and not Players which was an incredible show

I thought at some point I got a copy of Kentucky Route Zero but apparently not.

It's currently on sale on Xbox so I'll finally pick that up

I’ve been saying this to people who dismiss physical media completely for a while: when you buy digital, you almost always only buy a revocable license to watch/play it. You don’t own shit. It’s wild.

Then again, when it comes to video games, owning the physical game in many cases won’t help you much these days either, considering day one patches, servers and all that stuff. Like, as far as I know, some discs have nothing on them now. They’re just keys.

EDIT: This isn’t the first time this happened, nor is it only a Sony thing.

 

Oh I’m not pointing any fingers and it is unfortunate. I personally don’t like owning movies and never have. We rent them in my house or stream stuff on Netflix, etc
In regards to games, it’s a similar mentality but now that things like GamePass and PSPlus (which I forgot to cancel and now have for another year) exist it’s further reinforced my idea about physical media. Physical media is very important and personal to people and I get it, plus it’s money. The same goes for stuff you purchased digitally but that’s the gamble we have to take I guess.

 

I don't mind buying digital games, since servers can be shut down at anytime regardless, but my movie collection is absurdly large

 

Yeah, I know a lot of people love that but I am type A minimalist and when I see those huge collections it makes my skin crawl.

This game is kind of its own worst enemy. You are tasked with finding an item but here is the kicker: the world changes every time and the location of items changes every time. I know, I know, I know: Explore, Explore, EXPLORE!

But the game is still a lot of fun

 

I find the game does a bad job explaining what you’re supposed to do honestly

 

Thirsty Suitors is so fun so far and super duper gay. It's such a wild combination of gameplay genres on paper but it's charming enough that none of it feels out of place. I'm not South Asian (I'm Southeast Asian) but I can still appreciate when the culture is depicted with such love and care.

 

Before everyone gets their panties in a bunch it’s one persons opinion but I pretty much agree.

I know I’m in the minority and a lot of it was because I was bad at it but man I didn’t like Sekiro that much haha my brain could not unlearn my souls habits to play it
