Taurids Release New Album

Sooooo excited for this.

 

Can't wait to check this out, loved the EP! Will Pugh could sing the fuck outta the phonebook and I'd buy it!

 

I think you'll like this then...I was intrigued and liked the first track, but the rest does sound a bit like the phonebook. Something nice to listen to in the background while working. Will's voice sounds strong as always.

 

Surprised this is my first hearing of this project. I’ll always feel like Cartel’s S/T is one of the most underrated rock records of the 2000s.

 

they dropped their debut EP right as the pandemic was starting so im sure ALOT of people missed it but its So good! i jammed it a lot through 2020. my favorite song off it is Down Here

 

Abso-freakin-lutely. Biggest issue was the Bubble. Many people (including 85% of this site) slung hatorade all over it and I dont think it ever had a shot. But its a jam; probably one of the few albums I dont skip any tracks on

 

If it wasn't for ap.net I think I wouldn't even be aware of the bubble thing (living in Europe), and I loved the album right away. Still so solid! Taurid's full release is a cool thing to have too.

 

I remember it being hyped on MTV quite a bit (yes, I realize how old that sentence makes me sound). But once it was done, it was kind of never discussed again. Everyone knew it was a flop.

 

This is so true. I actually remember on AP.net them really disliking it. I thought it was their greatest album, and definitely one of my favorite albums of all time.

 

damn just started listening and realized its only 5 new songs, all of the EP from 2020 is on here. bummer!
