How would you describe their sound? And I don’t mean like genre of music, but I guess the production. It seems so sleek and emotionless. Like it’s messing something. I’m not a fan (no offense), but I just can’t get behind this production, even with other bands.

 

I'd say it's just really polished. I think on this track Brian's vocals have been pushed a bit further forward, which makes sense as he's ridiculously good.

Ronnie Martin, formerly Joy Electric, dropped a new holiday album. It's amazing as always. Synth pop

 

I saw them a few years back at Furnace Fest and they didn't mention anything about new music. The album sounds great!

All about that Nothing & Full of Hell record today. Highly recommend. Closer on that one is so damn good.

 

Happy vinyl release day to Spiritbox (Fear of Fear EP) & Sheryl Crow (Tuesday Night Music Club)! Both should be hitting my doorstep any moment now.

 

New Field Medic is real good.

 

My friends in Mean Jesus just released a new album today. Melodic hardcore featuring ex members of Invaluable, Converge, We Were Gentlemen, Murphy’s Kids, Canephora, Etc.

 

There's a Punchline holiday collection placed first on my release radar, and as it's december today, I'm totally fine with that! Already checked out new Dowsing and Field Medic (prefered the latter for now). Played that Nothing/Full of Hell split during work hours, and it was an interesting choice for sure.

 

That Real Estate music video makes me so happy.

 

Excited to check out this Full of Hell / Nothing album, along with a whole bunch of singles.

Also notable: a new instrumental project from Peter Silberman of The Antlers called Cowboy Sadness

 

Hope none of these albums are good since Spotify/apple lists are out.
