always strive and prosper was a massive let down. do not like any of it.

 

I really liked it tbh

I thought of it as fergs experimentation album. Lots of good to great songs with different influences and a loose narrative connecting it together

 

I like song with Missy and the one with Q

 

A Boogie is the most popular dude ATM in Philly. I've had his tape since June and only gave it a few listens. It's okay, similar to PNB rock. I don't particularly find their voices or melodies interesting outside of a handful of tracks. This is the one my kids talk about a lot

 

I didn't hate Always Strive and Prosper when it dropped but it fell off for me fast and I still listen to Trap Lord pretty often

I was listening to J Dilla's The Shining a lot yesterday. I find that I listen to older stuff more-- like ATLiens, Aquemini-era Outkast. Some older MF Doom, Black Star, Digable Planets, etc
